Valle Valle & Partners has been awarded the German Design Award in the category of Excellent Architecture – Private House for the firm’s residential project, 3100 North Bay Road, located in Miami Beach, Florida.

The 1,000-square-meter contemporary villa is an elevated exploration of coastal living, reimagining the traditional courtyard home through a fluid integration of architecture, landscape, and water. A dramatic front façade anchored by a cascading waterfall introduces the home’s central design narrative, with a continuous water feature weaving throughout the property beneath refined stone walkways and alongside tranquil canals before culminating in infinity-edge pools overlooking the bay. Lush tropical landscaping further enhances the indoor–outdoor experience, embracing sea breezes and the surrounding coastal environment.

In its statement, the German Design Award jury praised the project for its “harmonious integration into the existing urban landscape of Miami Beach Bay,” noting the home’s “generous and sympathetic open and bright architecture” and its seamless dialogue between historical and modern architectural styles. The jury highlighted the residence’s ability to create a distinctive sense of both community and exclusivity.
